With an infinitely variable table speed control that ranges from 0 to 10 rpm using a variable frequency drive, the band-knife on the automatic foam cutting machine’s slitting section runs on 4-balanced wheels with polyurethane coating fixated on align-able bearing hubs.
The motorised foam slitting section with a tensioned Teflon (PTFE) coated blade guide moves the 30 mm wide blade while keeping it in position too. It comes with an electric adjustment of slitting angle ranging from 0 to 5 degrees and a 1.5mm to 200mm pre-selection of slitting thickness via colour touch screen or vernier, making it easier to operate.
