Batch foam machines are used to manufacture flexible PU foam blocks one at a time. The batch foaming machine prices are relatively low and are designed for low-volume production. Capacity of up to 30 to 40 blocks per 8-hour cycle Density 10 to 32. There are also fully automatic batch foaming machines like the SA-1BM.
A Batch Foaming Machine is used to allow a reaction to occur so that high-strength, highly flexible blocks of foam can be formed with a single block at a time. Fortunately, despite their low quantity, these machines are quite affordable.
What are the general specifications of the machine?
MODEL BFM B foaming machinery has a mixer motor of 10 HP with AC drive for speed control, a mixing tank of 210 litres, and a mixing capacity of 125 KG. It requires 10 HP and is powered by a 415V AC 50Hz power supply. It requires a space of 4m x 8m. Its control panel is a single 6 ft. x 6 ft. mould with aluminium sheets on the sides and a wooden board on the bottom. Material is discharged from the bottom via a manually operated lifting mechanism.
Special Features
- Mixing SS tank
- 10 horsepower AC drive for variable mixing speed
- After mixing, the release of chemicals in the mould is done automatically.
- Integrated digital timing for both the preliminary and final mixing processes.
- Simple in its operation.
- A layer of aluminium on the side walls of the mould to provide a smooth finish
What are the specifications of a Batch Foaming Machine?
Firstly, you will need capital, which comprises of an area, even if it’s a small one, in which you can install the machine and the raw material so that you can manufacture foam that is in accordance with the specifications of the market. Additionally, you will need any other instruments that are required for the manufacture of polyurethane foam.
What is the best batch foaming machine?
Invest in a batch foam machine that has received positive feedback, as this will help you determine whether or not purchasing the machine will be worthwhile. You could also search for particular features, such as foam mould stabilisation and how quickly the chemical components are mixed together. If you find foaming machines that are designed to produce a higher yield, you should investigate whether or not the quality meets your requirements.
The Advantages of Purchasing a Batch Foam Machine
Do you still have questions about the advantages of a batch foam machine? You will benefit in the following ways as a result of it:
Even though it’s only for a small quantity, it has the capacity to deliver foam density of up to 50 kg/m3.
It comes with a motor that allows for regulated mixing, which results in a composition that is consistent throughout.
Handles chemical processes using an innovative technique that is efficient and effective.
Superior quality made possible by additions such as the T.D.I feeding system and the automated polyol.
Process
Step 1 : First, all chemicals are weighed and stored in preparation for the process.
Step 2 : The polyol and catalysts are poured into the mixing vessel, and the first mixing begins by pressing the speed 1 push button.
Step 3: Now, TDI and water are poured in rapid succession, and Speed 2 is activated.
Step 4: The machine stirs the chemicals before releasing them into the mould.
Step 5: The open door in the mould is manually closed.
Step 6: After 5 to 10 minutes, the block can be demolished.
